Valerian (Valeriana edulis, Valeriana sitchensis, Valeriana wallichii) is used for anxiety,  restlessness,  emotional stress, pain, insomnia, backaches, nervous palpitations, nervous irritation, attention deficit and hyperactivity syndromes, gastrointestinal cramping and  menstrual cramps. Valeriana officinalis contains many constituents with pharmacological activity. They include the essential oils, alkaloids,amino acids  such as arginine, tyrosine, glutamine and GABA.

Valerian root was used as a natural sleep aid to treat sleeping disorders. The root of the valerian plant was used as a natural tranquilizer and sedative .

Active Ingredients:

Valeriana (Valeriana officinalis)

Directions: Take one tablet twice daily or as directed by a physician. Keep the tightly sealed container in a cool, dry location.

Warnings: Keep out of the reach of children. Pregnant or nursing women and individuals taking any medication or with an underlying health condition should consult their physician before using this product. Do not use if the seal under the cap is broken.
